MANCHESTER UNITED head into the new Premier League season in under two weeks, uncertain of their starting line-up.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with numerous players this summer, but have only managed to bring in three new stars.

JOSE MOURINHO has insisted on signing another two players before the August 9 transfer deadline.

The Manchester United boss is unhappy at the lack of activity by the Old Trafford hierachy.

Portuguese coach Mourinho also wants his World Cup stars to return early from their holidays to boost the squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

BARCELONA defender Yerry Mina has hinted at a sensational move to Manchester United – despite ongoing Everton rumours.

The Colombian centre-back now follows the Red Devils, along with Old Trafford stars Paul Pogba and Antonio Valencia on Instagram.

Mina was expected to join the Toffees but this latest move puts United in pole position for his signature.

MANCHESTER UNITED have been sent a hands-off warning by Leicester City manager Claude Puel in their Harry Maguire pursuit.

The Foxes boss wants to keep hold of the England defender following his impressive showing at the World Cup.

Puel is also wary of the limited time he would have to find a replacement for the 25-year-old.

MANCHESTER UNITED are expected to complete the signing of Chelsea winger Willian, despite Real Madrid rumours.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time, but the deal came under scrutiny when the Spanish giants reportedly made a bid.

But he remains set to join United before the August 9 transfer deadline.

MANCHESTER UNITED target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has sparked fresh rumours of an exit from Lazio.

The Serbian reportedly missed medical tests at the club on Monday with Chelsea and Real Madrid also eyeing the £130million-rated midfielder.

He was due to arrive back in Rome this week for his post-World Cup holiday, but failed to show.
