MANCHESTER UNITED have been warned that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s asking price is on the rise this summer.
Agent Mateja Kezman admits interest is high in the Lazio midfielder, meaning that his potential transfer fee is “going up all the time.”
Serbia star Milinkovic-Savic, 23, is believed to be one of United’s top transfer targets as Jose Mourinho seeks a new central midfielder.
Michael Carrick has retired from football while Marouane Fellaini is set to quit Old Trafford on a free transfer.
And despite interest in Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred, Milinkovic-Savic is seen as the man to unlock Paul Pogba’s true potential.
He had an outstanding season with Lazio, despite the Italians narrowly missing out on a top four finish, and is also wanted by Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
As a result, Milinkovic-Savic could command a huge transfer fee should he leave, and United may have to make a move soon unless they want to shell out yet another club-record transfer fee.
